National Thailand Scout Jamboree (Past)
This is the symbol for the 15th National Thailand Scout Jamboree
The First National Scout Jamboree was help at Sranromya Royal Park,during February 26 - March 3,1927.Participants were scouts from fourteen regions divided into two groups:the group of 722 regional representatives consisting of 23 scouts from each region,and the group of 1,114 visiting scouts.These totalled 1,836 participants.
Later came the Second National Scout Jamboree held at Royal Sranromya Royal Park during january 1-7, 1930.Participants were 1,955 Thail scouts from fourteen regions all over from the country and 22 scout delegates from Japan.
The Third National Scout Jamboree lasted from November 20 till November 26,1954 at the National Stadium, Bangkok.There was 5,155 scouts and scout leaders partcipating.
The Sixth National Scout Jamboree was held at Vajiravudh Scout camp.There were 5,000 scouts and scout leaders including 582 representatives from twelve foreign countries participating.
The Seventh National Scout Jamboree was held to mark the 60th anniversary of the National Scout Organization of Thailand.The number scout and scout leader participants was 1667.
The Eighth National Scout Jamboree lasted from November 23,till November 30,1973 atVajiravudh Scout Camp.Participants consisted if 4,968 scouts and scout leaders including 256 scouts from eight overseas countries.
The Ninth National Scout Jamboree was held from November 21, to November 27,1977 Attendants were 10,827 scouts and scout leaders.These included 159 overseas scouts.
The Tenth National Scout Jamboree was held during December 28,1980 - January 3,1981.To celebrate His Majesty King Vajiravudh's 100th Birthday Anniversary.The number of participants was 12,692 including 108 scout delegates from ten foreign countries and the representatives of the King of Siam's Own Scout Troop joining the parade.
Later came the Eleventh National Scout Jamboree help at Vajiravudh Scout Camp during November 21 - 27,1985.Fourteen countries send 5,844 scouts and scout leaders to join the event.The theme of this occasion was "Scouting for Development of Youth."
The Twelfth National Scout Jamboree was held during November 21-27,1989 at Vajiravudh Scout Camp.Attendants included 15,000 scouts and scout leaders.
The Thirteen National Scout Conference was held at Vajiravudh Scout Camp from July 1-7,1991.Attendants included 10,200 Thai scouts and scout leaders and a total of 135 overseas scouts representing 8 Asian neighboring countries.
The Fourteenth National Scout Jamboree and the First National Environment and Action Camp was held at Vajiravudh Scout Camp during November 22-28,1994.Attendants included 12,565 scouts and scout leaders.
